I’ve always been in love with New York. In January, my friends and I decided to travel together. I have never been to NYC before. I was feeling so excited to see the dream city. We planned every detail, coffee shops, restaurants, local places, museums, and parks. As you know, New York is a very crowded city so people take a train, bus or taxi. When we arrive at the airport, the first thing we rent a car because we really needed it.
The first day we visited St. Patrick’s Cathedral which is so mesmerizing, incredible, amazing. After that, we took a city tour by our car. We were exploring every street. The day after, we started our planned tour. In the morning, we stopped by Central Park. It’s really great to walk in the park and I totally felt the spirit of New York. In the afternoon, we spent the time 5th Avenue, Rockefeller Center, Brooklyn Bridge, and Grand Central Terminal. The terminal is opened in 1871, very old but incredible that possible to see every detail of history. The historic world famous landmark isn’t only terminal, it has shopping centers, restaurants, and many events. That’s why don’t forget to put on your list. In my opinion, almost everything is world class in NYC. The whole city was covered with invisible bright. I can’t explain how much I loved New York. Looking forward to traveling again.
Tip 1: I have to admit that it is not easy to drive in NYC especially if you are a Californian driver. Streets are as many as crowded. If you rent a car, don’t forget that hard to find parking space on the streets and keep an eye open when you drive.
Tip2: I highly recommend that planning is a great idea before you go. It takes your time but worth it! We never know about new places which coffee shop in near, which museum is closer etc. I always research what I want to see then check on google maps and I match the closer places. That’s it! I never miss any places.
