PACIFIC COAST HIGHWAY ROAD TRIP

The Pacific Coast Highway is one of the most scenic drives in America. The highway begins Orange County to San Francisco. Last Spring Break, for couple days, my husband and I decided to take road trip to Monterey. I was looking forward to see the city. As soon as we decide it, I started to search online because we didn’t want to miss anything. I’ve found unique places to stop by but we had only two days that we passed some of them.

Monterey:

Monterey is very small and cute city.  The city that surrounding area have attracted artists and many painters, authors have lived here. Thus, Monterey had California’s first theater, public library and newspaper. For great experience, must see California’s First Theatre on Pacific Street. I had chance to stop by first theater building but unfortunately no access.. Good news that you are always going to feel artistic vibes in the city.. The other famous place is Old Fisherman’s Wharf. The Wharf is pretty cool and it is not hard to feel the history. You may shopping at Cannery Row, enjoy Monterey Bay Aquarium.. You’ll love to spend your time!

Carmel:

Carmel – by-the-sea is a cute seaside village. The people are very polite and friendly. The cafes, restaurant and stores and fairytale cottages are unique.. Carmel shopping is metropolitan style but not hard to fell historic vibes… You are going to fell Spain, Greece and European vibes.. so the city has variety of style.. Furthermore, the area offers that one of California’s top scenic drives ” 17- Mile Drive”..  I highly recommend the scenic drive!

Big Sur:

There is no word to describe Big Sur.. but  I can say ” It is My Heaven on the Earth!”.. There is no place like that. You may have thousand of roadtrips but I believe that you should add Pacific Highway 1 on your list. The best Ocean view ever! Big Sur offers incredible colors of Pacific Ocean and one of the most photographed bridges in California that Bixby Creek Bridge. The Bridge also known “Bixby Bridge”. For camping; Riverside Campground, Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park and Big Sur Campground.
