BEST THINGS TO DO IN SAN FRANCISCO

San Francisco is the heart of Northern California… The city had become famous in 1849s with Gold Rush and it called the home of the Californian Gold Rush. After all, San Francisco became the largest city on the West Coast. The city offers very great iconic symbols, places, famous restaurants. In my opinion, the best thing is about that this city has a very cool soul.

GOLDEN GATE: Driving over or walk across the Golden Gate bridge is so impressive. This iconic bridge in San Francisco always makes me feel good.

TWIN PEAKS: For the best views of San Francisco, Twin Peaks is the right place. From the top, you may view the city landmarks. Take a hike to Twin Peaks or drive…

UNION SQUARE: Union Square is the heart of downtown San Francisco. The square is well-known for shopping. Also, Dewey Monument situated in the center of Union Square. This area has incredible energy and great atmosphere.

FISHERMAN’S WHARF: Fisherman’s Wharf is a great place to spend time. This waterfront features Pier 39. The pier has plenty of shopping and restaurants. The Wharf also has Ripley’s Believe It or Not!, Madame Tussaud Wax Museum, Aquarium of the Bay, the San Francisco Dungeon and has many family-friendly activities/attractions. Fisherman’s Wharf really is a must-see.

LOMBARD STREET: This iconic road is a well-known zig-zag road. Lots of visitors like to drive down on this road. Get ready for a big line to drive because the road is one way. Instead of drive, you may walk along each direction of Lombard Street.

PAINTED LADIES: One of the most photographed locations in San Francisco. These famous Victorian Houses provide a stunning contrast. The houses are back-dropped by downtown San Francisco.

TAKE A CABLE CAR RIDE: To full experience, San Francisco’s charm, take an iconic cable car. In 1964, it has given the title of a National Historic Landmark. Best way to see San Francisco’s vibrant streets are riding the cable cars up and down.

TASTE MODERN SOURDOUGH: As many of you know, sourdough bread was born in 1849 in San Francisco. The bread blended with French techniques. They have been still baking modern sourdough in Boudin Bakery. Another modern bakery is Tartine which has amazing, delicious pastries and sourdough bread. My choice was avocado toast with organic Four Barrel coffee.

GHIRARDELLI CHOCOLATE FACTORY: Before you leave the city, stop by Ghirardelli Chocolate. It is a great opportunity to see how they make chocolate from scratch. Then taste fresh chocolates and original ice-cream. You may stop by the gift shop to get some extra delicious chocolates!
