21 Days Sugar Free Detox

Since October 2017, I’ve started to challenge myself  every two months. Before I start, really hesitated to quit 21 days sugar that never think to quit. I’ve already read articles about refined sugar that it is dangerous for our brain/body and unfortunately, consuming sugar is a similar to taking a drug.  Refined sugar is a energy consuming that it makes you feel tired and sleepy / less energetic. When we get sugar,  the hunger hormones wants more sugar. That’s why, we always feel hungry and snacking all day. Absolutely sugar is addictive and empty calories. All about this, I wanted to try the detox.

 

Based my personal experience, first 2 days I felt good. 7 days  later, I had really bad headache that was feeling back of my neck to my left eye. As I understand that the detox was started and sugar is not healthy. On the other hand, I  desired to consume refined sugar because if I eat, all headache is going to disappear. But I didn’t get any. 2 days after, feeling so energetic, no sleepy days, no addiction and pain was gone.

In my opinion, don’t be avoided from fruit. Fruits have natural sugar and important roles on our  detox.  Fruit contains sugars are healthy for our body. Especially, you may consume dates which are delicious. Sometimes I didn’t want to eat just dates. I create some recipes with dates as a dessert, smoothie or energy balls. If you try like this method,  you’re not going to miss refined sugar.

21 days later, my skin was smooth and feeling energize and important thing is that I understood the effect of sugar.
